Comfort Quilts Update – February 2018

YOU ARE WELCOME:

February 12 & 26, March 12 & 26
Drop in any time after 9:00; we finish at 3:00
Come for an hour, or bring your lunch, and stay for the day at St. Paul’s Congregational Church

What a sewing bee it was, last Comfort Day. Busy, busy !!! We laughed, and called it a sweatshop. The rooms were just a buzzing away. All kinds of jobs being done. Now, there are many quilts, kitted up ready to be quilted – 17, in fact. They all have the 3 B`s ….. the Backing, Batting and the Binding. If you would quilt one, there is always someone who will do the binding. We have several smaller ones, 50″ x 55″, which could be done on a domestic machine. If you know someone who might help us out by doing one or two, that would be appreciated too. Would be great if the 3 full bins could be emptied out at the meeting. And we have another day to work before the meeting.

There are Cuddle Quilt kits ready now. They are only 38″ x 40″. Our supply on hand is very low. Just one!! If you haven’t made one ever, that could be a “have never ever” challenge. Pattern, fabric, and batting all supplied. All that is needed is you and your machine.

Stop by our table. There might be quilts to bind, also. Tickets are available for the Quilt Draw, to be drawn in April.
