There was quite an impressive display of quilts for Childcan at out October meeting, the result of some very talented people. Thanks to all who contribute to this worthwhile outreach. Childcan is more than giving out our quilts. A lot of support is supplied for families of a child with cancer: it affects the whole family. It will soon be a new year. WHAT AN AMAZING GROUP OF QUILTERS – ABSOLUTLY WONDERFUL
Thank you to everyone for all of their hard work and talent. My son received a quilt from Child Can 13 years ago, when he began treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma, in London. He still cherishes that quilt. Even though he is nearly 20 now, it provides him with comfort. Please know that you are making an ongoing difference in the lives of those children.
